MOUNTAIN GARBAGE
1. Who is supposed to clean the mountain trail after you ?
2. Does KWS /KFS allow hikers to bring in non disposable containers in the park ?
3. What if I sneak in snacks in non disposable wrappings to the park, should I come back with the wraps and containers?
4. Is it my responsibility to bring down any non disposable trash down the mountain?
5. Should I sensitise my fellow hikers on the benefits of keeping our trails and natural habits clean?
6. Am I charged to bring my food wrappings/ containers back to Nairobi?
7. Recently during our Traverse, did you see that trash at the Summit of table mountain? Did you add some to the small dump ?
8. Did you know that those plastic wrappings and containers fuel fires on Mt Kenya and the Aberdares?
9. Did you know that it is illegal to dump in designated parks ?
10. Did you know that compliance with the above cost us nothing but blessings from our God and Creator ?

Why destroy the newly installed reflective trail markers in the Aberdares ?
I can imagine a heavy hailstorm turning the trail to darkness in the afternoon .The whole team will suffer loss of direction and may end up spending a cold icy night , including yourself ,your relative or friend because of this senseless destruction.

Let us style up while in the wilderness.
