We had a sit-down with WADADIA-Habibat Clinical Officer, Mr. James Sasaka, and he shared a glimpse of the ongoing free surgical camp.

This week has been filled with courage, hope, and remarkable transformation as women from different counties arrive seeking healing after years of pain, stigma and isolation.
Our medical team, nurses and psychosocial support team continue to work with unwavering dedication to restore dignity, one smile, one repaired injury, one woman at a time. 💛

Encouraging progress:
🔹 Successful reconstructive surgeries completed so far
🔹 Women recovering with strength and renewed emotional confidence
🔹 Strong post-surgery support from our psychosocial team
🔹 Reintegration planning already underway for smooth transitions home

We are now thrilled to share that the momentum continues as we transition into the Free Pediatric Surgical Camp, which is already ongoing
Our clinicians are excited and fully prepared to transform the lives of children, to restore health and hope for bright futures.

We are honored to receive a generous donation of essential medical equipment and supplies from our Founder & Lead Director, Habiba C N Mohamed , a kind and generous woman whose heart beats fiercely for mothers, children, and underserved communities.

Her meaningful contribution included:
🌼 A Vacuum Delivery System to support safe assisted births
🌼 A Fetal Doppler Machine — replacing faulty equipment and restoring uninterrupted fetal monitoring
🌼 Medical gloves, masks, and sanitizers for strengthened infection prevention
🌼 Automated dispensing units enhancing hygiene in maternity and newborn spaces
🌼 Cord & catheter trays, thermometers & additional lifesaving clinical tools

These are instruments of life, safety, dignity, and hope for women and children who depend on quality healthcare.
