🎯 Justice for the Mask Vendor: End Police Brutality Now

Another Kenyan life ended not by crime or illness—but by the very people meant to protect us. On June 17, during protests over the killing of blogger Albert Ojwang, a humble street vendor selling masks was gunned down by a police officer. His only crime? Being present. He wasn’t armed. He wasn’t violent. He was walking away.

A masked officer raised his gun and shot him in the head at point-blank range. Caught on video. Seen by witnesses. Another name in the growing list of police victims.

This wasn’t just a stray bullet. It was a symbol—of unchecked power, of a system where state violence is normalized, and where the poor suffer in silence.

The government’s promises of reform mean nothing if officers keep killing citizens without consequence. We demand:
- The immediate prosecution of the officer responsible.
- Compensation and justice for the vendor’s family.
- A national overhaul of how police are trained, deployed, and held accountable.

Being poor is not a death sentence. Selling masks is not a threat. Protesting injustice is not a crime.

Enough is enough. Justice for the mask vendor. for all
