✅A healthy discharge is usually clear, milky white, or stretchy like raw egg white especially around ovulation or early pregnancy. It doesn’t smell bad, it doesn’t itch, and it doesn’t make you uncomfortable. That kind of discharge is just the body doing its job. But sometimes, the discharge changes in color, texture, or smell and that’s when you should start paying more attention.
⚠️🚩If you notice a yellow or greenish discharge, especially if it’s thick, smelly, or itchy, it might be a sign of infection like trichomoniasis or an STI. And if the discharge looks like cottage cheese white, thick, and lumpy, it’s probably a yeast infection. It’s not dangerous, but it’s uncomfortable and needs treatment. Frothy or bubbly discharge, especially with a bad smell, is another red flag, often linked to infections that shouldn’t be ignored.
