Hon. Dennis Mbithi, 2nd vice chairman NNAK, was at the Mental Health Chapter Conference in Nanyuki, where the theme, Advancing Mental Health: Innovation, Inclusion, and Integrated Care for a Resilient Future set the tone for meaningful conversations.

His presence was more than symbolic, it was a clear message that mental health deserves attention, support, and action.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our dear colleague, Jescah Kegode. Jescah was a devoted and steadfast member of NNAK, her commitment to the nursing profession, her unity with colleagues, and her unwavering spirit will remain a lasting inspiration to us all.

To our NNAK Kakamega members, we share in your grief during this difficult time. As a community, we have lost not only a colleague but a passionate advocate and a true comrade.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her. May you find strength and comfort in the memories you shared and the impact she made. We stand in solidarity with you and keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Our Nurses, Our Future.
From kangaroo care to innovation that gives newborns a fighting chance, empowered nurses save lives.
As NNAK, we’re proud to be associated with Joan Basweti, our member, for this impactful work, a true example of what nurses achieve with the right support. We also appreciate Kenyatta National Hospital for standing behind her.
