At first, students might find you strict and a little intimidating, but they eventually realize that behind that strong presence is someone truly caring, considerate, and soft-hearted. You push students not to make life harder, but to bring out their best and guide them toward a clear purpose.

Your hard work as the Student Activity Coordinator continues to bring pride to the JBLFMU-Molo community, especially through the many achievements in sports. You may raise your voice now and then, but everyone knows it always comes with dedication and results that speak for themselves.

Thank you for pushing students to be better, for standing by them, and for always giving your best. Wishing you a birthday filled with laughter, well-deserved rest, and maybe just a little less stress for today.

Those who were not able to complete the NaMMAT online registration can still take the exam as a walk in examinee.

Test dates available for Iloilo aspirants is on March 22, 2026 (Sunday)

Walk in guidelines
• Go to the designated testing center for Iloilo takers (St. Therese - Magdalo Site).
• Bring a valid ID, a No. 2 pencil, and an eraser.
• Register at the Walk in Sign up Area to receive your entry pass.
• Gates for walk in examinees open at 6:00 AM.

Exam schedule
• 8:00 AM batch for the first 40 examinees
• 12:30 PM batch for the next 40 examinees

Each testing site can only accommodate up to 80 walk in examinees.

It is Important to eat your meal before the exam or bring your own lunch, snacks, and drinks while waiting for your schedule.

JBLFMU Molo applicants who plan to take the NaMMAT are advised to prepare the required materials and arrive early at the testing site.

𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐉𝐁𝐋𝐅𝐌𝐔-𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐬

Seafarers Shipping, Inc. (SSI) visited John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University – Molo (JBLFMU-Molo), Inc. to recruit BS Marine Engineering cadet recommendees who are ready for onboard training and service.

The delegation was led by Chief Engineer Rely Arquiola, Port Engineer, together with C/E Silvestre Gallego, Technical Manager and Owner’s Representative, and Mr. Jeremie Noel Mendoza, Crewing Supervisor.
Sixteen (17) cadets—10 graduating students and 7 who completed Classroom Instruction (CCI)—were shortlisted and underwent a thorough one-on-one interview. After the evaluation, five (5) graduating students were selected for the company’s Placement Program, while the six (6) CCI completers were given the opportunity for final evaluation for early disembarkation.

The visit formed part of the company’s recruitment activities, giving future marine engineer cadets the chance to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they gained from their training at JBLFMU-Molo.
