The Hidden Cost of “Good Intentions”
Most parents don’t mean harm.
They want security.
Respectable careers.
Certainty.
So they say things like:
“Be a doctor—it’s stable.”
“Do law—you’re intelligent.”
“Our family doesn’t do art.”
“Business is risky.”
What they rarely ask is:
“Who is this child designed to be?”
When a child’s personality is ignored, their body eventually becomes the voice.
