On 7th December, AfriYouth Care Group .-ACG" was represented at the 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦, where a powerful message on youth leadership took center stage.

In his address, the President reflected on how young people have consistently shaped environmental action and policy through their ideas, energy, and commitment. He recognized their contributions throughout the engagement process and reminded us that empowering youth is not optional—it is essential for building lasting solutions and securing a sustainable future for generations to come.

Today at the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 at the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶, young leaders stepped into critical global conversations—shaping solutions that will influence -7 and the wider environmental agenda.

Our CEO Gorffly Mokua proudly represented AfriYouth Care Group .-ACG" , contributing to discussions on:
🔹 Reforming multilateral environmental architecture
🔹 Financing the future and transforming international financial systems for the SDGs
🔹 The environment–migration nexus and youth experiences
🔹 Children and youth rights in environmental governance
🔹 Strengthening ozone and climate protection with the Ozone Secretariat

The day concluded with consultations on -7 draft resolutions, where youth perspectives— including ours—helped shape the collective CYMG position.

The insights were bold, the momentum powerful, and the youth voice unmistakably strong.
And now, we look ahead with excitement and anticipation—Day 2 promises even more action, collaboration, and transformative ideas.

We’re ready for what’s next.

Yesterday,AfriYouth Care Group was represented at the Fourth Annual National SDGs Multi-Stakeholders’ Youth Pre-Conference held at the YMC Centre. The event brought together passionate young leaders from across Kenya to discuss the challenges and solutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This inspiring pre-conference created a platform for youth to engage in dialogue, co-create solutions, and develop actionable recommendations that will inform the Annual National SDGs Multi-Stakeholders’ Conference. Topics ranged from climate Action and gender equality to innovation governance, and inclusive development — all aimed at accelerating progress in the Race to 2030.

The event was organized by the SDGs Kenya Forum in collaboration with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Kenya , the Champions for SDGs Youth, the National Youth Council Kenya , the United Disabled Persons of kenya UDPK, and The Centre For Multiparty Democracy CMD- Kenya.

It was truly empowering to witness youth voices, energy, and innovation shaping Kenya’s sustainable development journey.

Yesterday, our CEO Gorffly Mokua joined other youth changemakers and climate actors for the official opening of a 3-day Co-Design Workshop, beginning with an insightful session on the role of audio-visual tools in climate action.
Participants explored:

✅ Impactful climate storytelling
✅ Creative content formats
✅ The power of digital platforms in amplifying community voices

The session highlighted how digital advocacy can effectively inform, influence, and inspire communities toward meaningful climate solutions.
We extend our appreciation to Boniface Harrison for facilitating a practical and engaging discussion.
This workshop is implemented under the 𝑺𝒊𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒂 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊 𝒀𝒆𝒕𝒖 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕 — 𝑫𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒂 𝑰𝒏𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒂 co-funded by the European Union.
