We are Team iCow. We believe that all small holder farmers across Africa should have access to verified agricultural knowledge on sustainable safe practices that are good for us , our livestock and our planet. And that access should be 24/7 and for FREE.

To ensure this happens we have built an agricultural platform that is loaded with regenerative agricultural content on livestock, crops, soils, farmer health, climate change, pollinators, biodiversity and more. Our build is dependent on farmer demand and involves working with an ever growing ecosystem of partners.

iCow is available over USSD, Web and Android. This means that farmers can access iCow on simple feature, smart feature as well as smart phones where content is in SMS, Video, Audio, Text and image.

Recent research with our partners shows that farmers using iCow can double their productivity and incomes within 12 months. As Africa will grow to double it’s population by 2030 from 1.2 billion today to 2.5 billion, we believe that to feed our continent sustainably we must increase farmers capacity quickly, consistently and at scale. And that iCow offers a cost effective tool to drive food and nutrition security across the continent.
