🫀 Launching Kenya’s First Quality Improvement Program on ATTR Cardiac Amyloidosis
I’m excited to share a milestone for Kenya and the region: the launch of the first free CPD-accredited CME course on ATTR Cardiac Amyloidosis, as part of a broader Quality Improvement initiative supported by the Global Bridges Healthcare Alliance and the Mayo Clinic.
Cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CM) is often under-recognized and diagnosed late. This program goes beyond education; it’s about closing knowledge gaps, strengthening diagnostic capacity, and improving patient outcomes.
This program is independently supported by Mayo Clinic, ensuring it remains free, evidence-based, and accessible to clinicians across Kenya and beyond.
The program is free, CPD-accredited, fully online, and open to:
✔ Cardiologists
✔ Clinical Officers
✔ General Practitioners
✔ Radiologists & Sonographers
By increasing awareness and improving diagnostic skills, we can help more patients with amyloidosis get timely, life-saving care.
Thank you to Prof. Anders Barasa, CRK Clinical Research Key and CRK courses for helping bring this milestone to life.
