What is Anxiety?
Anxiety is your body’s natural response to stress. It’s a feeling of fear or apprehension about what’s to come. For example, going to a job interview or giving a speech on the first day of school may cause some people to feel fearful and nervous.

Let's talk about Social Anxiety.👇🏾

People with social anxiety disorder have a general intense fear of, or anxiety toward, social or performance situations. They worry that actions or behaviors associated with their anxiety will be negatively evaluated by others, leading them to feel embarrassed. This worry often causes people with social anxiety to avoid social situations. Social anxiety disorder can manifest in a range of situations, such as within the workplace or the school environment.

Agoraphobia: People with agoraphobia have an intense fear of two or more of the following situations:

Using public transportation
Being in open spaces
Being in enclosed spaces
Standing in line or being in a crowd
Being outside of the home alone
People with agoraphobia often avoid these situations, in part, because they think being able to leave might be difficult or impossible in the event they have panic-like reactions or other embarrassing symptoms. In the most severe form of agoraphobia, an individual can become housebound.

Bipolar disorder (formerly called manic-depressive illness or manic depression) is a mental illness that causes unusual shifts in a person’s mood, energy, activity levels, and concentration. These shifts can make it difficult to carry out day-to-day tasks.

The main symptoms of bipolar disorder as alternating episodes of high and low mood. Changes in energy levels, sleep patterns, ability to focus, and other features can dramatically impact a person’s behavior, work, relationships, and other aspects of life.

Here are few things you shouldn't say to or about someone with this particular disorder

1. You are a psycho
2. Everybody has mood swings
3. She / he is Bipolar
4. Get over it already

About 7 of every 10 men experience atleast one trauma in their lives. Men are more likely to experience trauma related to Accidents, R**e, physical assault, witnessing death/injury.

50% of men feel more depressed than they admit to the people in their life.
Men are much less likely to voice struggles with mental illness and even thoughts of su***de because of fear of judgement or feeling like they're not ' man enough'

Creating Safe spaces for men to talk it out starts with you and I. Do not shame a man for being vulnerable both in public or private
Encourage the men around you to start therapy or open up to someone they're comfortable with
