HIM NEGUS CBO (Hayle Sellasse Foundation)
Is an Organisation based in Nairobi Kenya Kibera Slums. The main purpose is to engage the community in activities leading to self empowerment, income generation, education and social entrepreneurship, to contribute positively towards community development endeavours. Amongst the major objectives, are economic empowerment through recycling tyres to make sustainable sandles, using locally available seeds and bamboo shoots to make unique african jewellery i.e. Promote a high living standard based on Natural nutrition and cures as well as a healthy social interaction. To preserve and maintain our African cultural heritage through the promotion of performing arts, visual arts, poetry and storytelling. To stimulate interest and engage the youth in environmental preservation through natural agriculture and essential small scale industries. To equip youth with information technology as well as management and leadership skills.
