🗓️ Date: Monday, 22nd December 2025

🕖 Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Marriage looks very different today than it did a generation ago. Many people under 40 are delaying marriage, questioning it altogether, or finding it hard to sustain once they get in.

But why is this happening?
Is it fear, pressure, past trauma, shifting values, economic realities; or all of the above?

In this timely and reflective end-year webinar, we’ll explore the psychological, social, and emotional factors shaping modern relationships and marriage today.

Whether you are single, dating, married, divorced, or simply curious: this conversation will offer clarity, reflection, and meaningful takeaways as we close the year. 🌱

Yesterday was an experience; today is an experiment; tomorrow is an expectation.

As the year comes to an end, we pause to reflect on all that yesterday has taught us: the lessons, challenges, growth, and victories that shaped our journey. Today, in this festive season, we embrace rest, gratitude, and togetherness, appreciating how far we have come while allowing ourselves to renew and recharge. Tomorrow, we look ahead with hope, setting expectations filled with purpose, joy, and new possibilities.

As we celebrate the season, may our experiences guide us, our present moments be filled with warmth and reflection, and our expectations for the new year be grounded in hope, growth, and fresh beginnings. Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 🎊🎉

❤️ World AIDS Day: Remember, Educate, Support ❤️

Today, on World AIDS Day, we honour all those who have lost their lives to HIV & AIDS, stand with those living with HIV, and commit to a future free from stigma and discrimination.

At Kenya Institute of Professional Counselling (KIPC), we recognise that:

- HIV is not a death sentence
- With the right treatment and support, people living with HIV can live long, healthy lives
- Stigma and silence often hurt more than the virus itself

This day reminds us to:

- Get informed about HIV prevention, testing and treatment
- Challenge myths, fear and negative attitudes
- Offer emotional support to those affected
- Promote regular testing and knowing your status

🧡 Compassion. Respect. Dignity.
Every person living with HIV deserves to be seen, heard and supported not judged.

Let’s be the generation that chooses knowledge over fear and love over stigma.

Topic: The Invisible Rules Men Follow That Quietly Mess With Their Mental Health

🗓️ Date: Friday, 28th November 2025

🕖 Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

💻 Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/fmg-tavw-vmv

In this powerful webinar, we’ll unpack some of the “invisible rules” that quietly mess with men’s mental health:

1️⃣ The Provider Rule

Men feel they must always provide financial and emotional stability even when no one said it.

2️⃣ The “Handle It Alone” Rule

Men believe asking for support is weakness… so they break in silence.

3️⃣ The “Stay Solid” Rule

Men think they must always be strong. No fear. No breakdowns. No bad days.
This blocks real healing.

4️⃣ The Performance Rule

Career success, s*x, money, status, progress; men judge themselves by these metrics.
When one fails, they feel like failures.

5️⃣ The “Pain Doesn’t Count” Rule

Men dismiss their own wounds father issues, early rejection, shame, loneliness.
They say, “It’s nothing,” but it shapes everything.

Topic: Embracing Vulnerability as Strength in Men's Mental Health

🗓️ Date: Friday, 21st November 2025

🕖 Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

📍 Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/wms-qepn-avt

From a young age, many men are taught to “be strong,” “man up,” and never show emotion. Yet behind the quiet smiles and “I’m fine” replies, many carry stress, fear, shame, and pain in silence.

In this powerful conversation, we’ll explore how vulnerability is not weakness, but courage and how opening up can transform men’s mental health, relationships, and overall wellbeing. 💙

This session will explore:
✨ What vulnerability really means (and what it’s not)
✨ How cultural expectations and gender roles shape men’s emotional lives
✨ The hidden cost of emotional suppression on mental health
✨ How men can start expressing emotions in safe, healthy ways
✨ How friends, partners, and communities can create safe spaces for men

Let’s challenge the myth that “strong men don’t feel” and embrace a new truth:
Strong men do talk, feel, and ask for help. 🌱

💙 International Men’s Day: Let’s Talk About Men’s Mental Health 💙

As we mark International Men’s Day, we honour the men in our lives – fathers, sons, brothers, husbands, colleagues and friends. Behind many smiles are silent battles that often go unseen and unheard.

This month at Kenya Institute of Professional Counselling (KIPC), our webinars will focus on Men’s Mental Health and how we, as a community, can work together to:

* Create safe spaces for men to speak openly
* Listen without judgement
* Encourage men to seek help and support
* Challenge harmful beliefs like “a man must always be strong”

🧠 Men’s feelings are valid. Men’s struggles are real. Men’s mental health matters.

If you’re not yet on our Webinar group, we invite you to join using the link below and be part of these important conversations.
