🎓 Nairobi Hospice proudly celebrates our latest graduates of the Diploma of Higher Education in Palliative Care — a transformative program that equips professionals with the compassion, skills, and confidence to advocate, teach, and deliver quality palliative care. If you’ve ever felt called to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families facing life-limiting illness, our next Palliative Care Training for Non-Health Care Providers is the perfect place to begin. Running from 24th–28th November, this non-residential, beginner-friendly course is tailored for anyone passionate about enhancing quality of life and offering emotional, social, and spiritual support where it’s needed most. Palliative care is specialized medical care that focuses on improving the quality of life for people living with serious, chronic, or life-threatening illnesses.

Through our recent health screening, 32 people were assessed, helping identify those in need of specialized support. From this, 6 new patients were enrolled to receive palliative care, ensuring they get holistic medical and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.

What an incredible day it was — full of purpose, energy, and compassion! The Ride for Wellness from Jivanjee Gardens to Nairobi Hospice brought together cyclists, healthcare professionals, and supporters who believe in the power of wellness and community.

Thanks to your participation, we were able to offer free cancer and health screenings and subsidised medical tests, giving many the chance to take charge of their health.

A heartfelt thank-you to all the cyclists, partners, medical teams, and volunteers who made this day possible. Your support continues to bring hope and dignity to patients and families under palliative care.

Our amazing Brand Ambassadors cycled to create awareness about palliative and hospice care, reminding us that every kilometre counts in bringing comfort, dignity, and hope to those facing life-limiting illnesses.
