The event brought together Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), National Government Officials (NGAO), the Departmant of Criminal Investigations (DCI), community leaders, survivors, parents of victims, religious leaders and residents of Wajir for open discussions on the urgent need to protect vulnerable populations from exploitation.

The event also served as a platform to intensify awareness on the ills of human trafficking, especially as we approach the school holiday period β€” a time when children and youth are particularly vulnerable to exploitation.
