I have no problem with that at all as long as it is a quality product. Only problem for me has been getting a hold of the products so I can sample them. I don’t want to buy a case or advertise or subscribe. I just want some samples for an honest review. That has been impossible to accomplish and has turned me off to some of these companies. Not the case with Vemma Verve. I was provided with a couple of cans to try no strings attached. I figure they have faith in their product and know that an unbiased reviewer like me will see its merits. Packaging: Ok so right off Verve comes in a really nice looking 8.3 oz can. It does not look cheesy but actually looks very professional. It has this hard to describe pattern of orange fade circles and white and grey dots. The name “Verve!” is right in the middle followed by “Insanely Healthy Energy” all in a fun black font. At the bottom it reads “A radically different dietary supplement” in black font as well. That is it on the front. No outlandish claims or cheesiness to be found here. The back has supplement facts. I’m giving them a grade of B for packaging. Slogans: Not really a slogan I guess but it works for me. “Insanely healthy Energy” is right on the front and I like it. It is “healthy” put to you in a fun way. Works well. Grade B for slogan
Taste: I pop the top and the scent is totally impossible to describe. It has a nice fruity organic scent with some minerality. It smells healthy and by that I mean in a good way. Pouring some in a glass it comes out looking like a dark carrot juice color with some specks in it. There is a mild carbonation to it as well. Taking a sip it has the most unique flavor of any drink I have tried. It is fruity in a mixed tropical way and organic with some hints of tea. I would say it taste like Mangosteen but I have never tasted a Mangosteen so I won’t. It is just very tropical tasting with a hint of strawberry that is not overly sweet. I guess you will just have to try one to understand the taste. The drink is dense and has some pulp and sediment in it but it really does not detract at all and if shaken gently you don’t notice. There was no bitter after taste of vitamin flavor. Grade B for flavor
Kick/Ingredients. This is where Verve is supposed to be king. I drank the can down and over 25 to 20 minutes my energy ramped up to a nice mid level buzz like you might get from a Red Bull level drink. There were no jitters and generally I just had a good solid level of smooth energy that carried me on for a good 4 hours with no crash. My concentration and overall mood was great as well. The main energy in verve comes from 80 mg of caffeine derived from Guarana, 1000 mg of Taurine, D-Ribose , Choline Chloride, inositol, Tons of vitamins, Reconstituted Mangosteen Juice, Aloe Vera Gel (leaf), Green Tea (leaf) (decaffeinated), Mangosteen Extract, and their Plant-Sourced Mineral Blend that has Carbon (Organic), Calcium, Sodium, Sulfur, Magnesium, Chloride, Bromide, Fluoride, Iodine, Potassium, Niobium, Aluminum, Iron, Phosphorus, Silica, Manganese, Boron, Strontium, Titanium, Tungsten, Copper, Zinc, Tin, Zirconium, Molybdenum, Vanadium, Chromium, Selenium, Nickel, Cobalt, Lithium, Gallium, Barium, Yttrium, Neodymium, Hafnium, Cadmium, Thorium, Antimony, Cerium, Tellurium, Beryllium, Samarium, Dysprosium, Erbium, Bismuth, Gadolinium, Cesium, Lanthanum, Praseodymium, Europium, Lutetium, Terbium, Ytterbium, Holmium, Thallium, Thulium, Tantalum, Germanium, Gold, Platinum, Rhodium, Rubidium, Ruthenium, Scandium, Silver, Indium. Whoa that is a boatload of supplements. Grade B- for kick/ingredients. Kick is only a C+ but adding all the healthy stuff kicks it up to a B-

So I am surprised at how good this drink actually is. I did not expect such overall quality but it seems that Verve actually put a lot of effort into making a unique drink. They could have been like many and focused mostly on the marketing but instead focused on a quality drink that stands out from the others. This is one energy drink you will feel good about drinking. Now if I can just get my hands on the SF version and the new Verve Shots. .
