“You are 35… oooh sorry… 29.” 😂

That’s what someone said to me recently.

He started by saying:
“You know you are the age of your daughter…”

Respectfully, I asked him:
“How old do you think I am?”

Honestly, I expected him to say late 30s.

But when I told him,
“I’m actually above 40,”
he immediately said,
“No.”

So I turned to my mum and asked:
“How old is your daughter?”

And my mum answered:
“She’s not lying. She is 42.”

😂😂😂

That gentleman went completely silent after that.
The conversation ended right there.

And honestly?
One of the best things about body transformation is when people struggle to guess your age — in the best way possible.

Today, I’m not just celebrating a birthday.

I’m celebrating the woman I had to become to get here.

The strength no one always saw.
The silent battles.
The moments I had to keep going even when life felt heavy.

The times I poured into everyone else while quietly trying to hold myself together too.

There were seasons that stretched me deeply.

Seasons of growth.
Seasons of healing.
Seasons that changed me forever.

And through it all…

👉 I kept becoming.

Softer.
Wiser.
More grounded.
More intentional about the life I want to live and the woman I want to be.

I know that sounds confusing.

Because most of us were taught:

👉 Skip meals

So you try.

You push through hunger.
