If all dark places could be lit and neighbourhoods well-designed, there would be remarkably fewer muggings, r**e and even carjacking, surveys suggest.

The reports imply that poor planning of settlements, like narrow pathways, lack of lighting, single exits and entry points, encourage crimes to an extent that even the police would find it difficult to fight crime.

I once had a best friend forever. Where is she now?
Now that I'm on the verge of making all my dreams come true.
What happened to forever?.. Did it melt away into oblivion?
Did I sleep away forever without even knowing?
The painful truth is nothing last forever.
A soul lost in the haze of drugs has no true friends.
The loyalty and love is as the dust of pills crushed upon the counter.
I once had a best friend forever, where is she now?
Luckily there are others that have longed to take your place.
It may not be the same, but I go on.
Just wanted to say to my lost friend,
I hope you find your true self some time soon.

I once was addicted but I pulled myself out of the haze.
