CNA STUDENTS LEARN HOW TO:

🥼Monitor vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
🥼Maintain hygiene and infection control through proper handwashing, use of PPE, and safe waste disposal

Types of Fever Every Should Know 🌡️

is a common sign of illness, and CNAs play a key role in identifying and reporting it early.

A low-grade fever may indicate a mild infection and requires monitoring.

A moderate fever often signals active infection and should be reported promptly. A high fever is serious and needs immediate attention from the nurse.

Some fevers are intermittent, coming and going, while others are continuous, staying high for long periods.

By accurately checking temperatures, observing symptoms, and reporting changes, CNAs help ensure timely care and patient safety.
