Who can sit for the TVET/CDACC EXAMS?
✓ Candidates must be registered students in a TVET-accredited institution.

General Eligibility Requirements:
✓ Enrollment: You must be enrolled in a TVET-CDACC accredited training institution.
✓ No Private Registration: TVET students cannot register as private candidates; registration is done through the training institution.
✓ Fees & Attendance: Candidates must have paid the required exam fees and fulfilled attendance requirements (usually a minimum of 75% class attendance).
✓ Internal Assessment: Students must have completed their Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs) and internal assessments.

Academic Requirements by Level:

✓Artisan Courses / NVCET (Level 1): Applicants must have completed their KCPE.
✓ Certificate Courses (Craft): Applicants require a minimum of KCSE mean grade D (Plain), or a pass in a relevant Artisan course.
✓ Diploma Courses: Applicants require a minimum of KCSE mean grade C- (minus), or a pass in a related Craft/Certificate course.
✓ Higher Diploma Courses: Applicants must hold a relevant Diploma or its equivalent.

Alternative Entry Paths:
✓ Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Individuals who have acquired knowledge and skills through informal, non-formal, or experiential learning can be admitted through the RPL pathway, which assesses competency regardless of formal schooling.
✓ Credit Transfers: Students transferring from other recognised institutions may have up to 49% of their core course units transferred, allowing them to sit for higher-level exams.

Registration Process:
✓ Documentation: Candidates must provide a:
* National ID or Birth Certificate
*passport-size photographs
* relevant academic results.
✓ Registration Deadline: Institutions must upload candidate details on the TVET CDACC portal within specified timelines, usually in:
* March
*July
*October.
✓ Verification: Candidates must verify their details :
(names, subjects, photos) and sign the nominal roll.
