How ov€rweight affect f€rtility

1. Excess body fat increases €strogen and ins©lin levels, which can disrupt ov@lation in women and lower t€stosterone in men

2 Women may have irr€gular or absent p€riods, making it harder to predict f€rtile days.

3 Ob€sity can reduce egg quality and sp€rm motility/count, which lowers the chances of conception.

4 Even when conception happens, the risk of misc@rriage, and pr€clamsia is high

CAN INFECTION AFFECT SPƐRM?

Yes, infɛctions can significantly affect spɛrm quality and male fɛrtility by causing inflammation and damage to the rɛproductive tract. Both b@cterial and viral infɛctions can impair spɛrm count, motility, and morphology, and in severe cases, lead to infɛrtility.

Severe inflammation can lead to scarring and blockages in the rɛproductive tract, including the epididymis, which can prevent spɛrm from being released during ej@culation

Some bacteria can directly attach to spɛrm cells, impairing their function. Viral particles can also attach to spɛrm, potentially compromising the integrity of its DNA.

*CAN URINARY TRACT INF&CTION CAUSES INF$RTILITY?* The answer is yes

1. *Spread of inf&ction* If untreated, a UTI can spread to the reproductive organs (like the ut&rus, fallopian tubes, or prostate in men), causing pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) which can block tubes or damage sp&rm pathways.

2. *Scarring and blockage* Repeated or severe inf$ctions may leave scars in the urinary and reproductive tract, leading to difficulty with sp&rm passage in men or egg transport in women.

3. *Sp&rm/egg quality* Chronic inf&ctions may alter the vaginal or seminal environment, making it harder for sp&rm to survive and fertilize the egg.
