is the beginning, not the end. Personal action means taking charge of your health and encouraging others to do the same. It’s about doing not just knowing.

Know your normal: Be familiar with how your breasts look and feel so you can spot any changes early.

▫️Schedule screenings: Book your mammogram or clinical breast exam as recommended for your age group.
▫️Adopt healthy habits: Maintain a balanced diet, exercise regularly, limit alcohol, and avoid to***co.
▫️Talk about it: Encourage open conversations with friends, colleagues and family, especially younger women.
▫️Support survivors and caregivers: Offer time, empathy, or donate to cancer support programs.
▫️Advocate: Push for access to screening, early diagnosis, and treatment services in your community.

This October, let’s move beyond awareness. Let’s act for ourselves, for our sisters, for our future.
