Okay...Story Time!!! 🥳
I am the fourth born out of 6 children. Four girls, two boys- in that order.
As a child I remember my elder sisters and I (before the boys got here), having a home Fashion Show (as little girls do). I enjoyed spending time with them and playing Runway... my dreams had no limits! 😭
Fast forward to.. after leaving high school, I pursued a career as a Commercial Model.. I will share these pictures later😭- but soon my dream was slightly interrupted as I joined college to pursue Counselling Psychology. As a Counselling Psychologist, I worked for over five years, trying to help my clients discover who they were, but little did I know that I was on a journey to rediscover myself!
Quantum leap to now, the year 2026, the Fashion bug, you know- the one that bit me when I was a little girl and fresher soon out of high school- decided to bite me- again- a little too hard for me to ignore!
I had to humble myself, surrender is the word- and With a little bit of bravery left- decided to heed the call and go back to my childhood and adolescent roots of Fashion- and let go of my dream of being a Psychologist. Ouch! 😭
This is the journey of “Style by Originally, Maryanne,” where Fashion meets Psychology! I was like you know what- I can as well use my passion for fashion and background in identity psychology, to help my male and female clients change the way they think about themselves (tap into their innate potential) as they work on their wardobe! (*Insert light bulb emoji!)
