Have you heard of this phrase that people have been using recently to cope with life? That, -"Delulu is the Solulu"? Simply meaning living in delusions is the solution. People are avoiding to face the reality. The reality that your relationship isn't working, the reality that you are broke and can't afford some certain basics or lifestyle, the reality that you got went through a traumatic experience that left a deep seated psychological wound inside of you. The reality that you got hurt but you fear facing the mirror to start the healing process. The reality that you went through several Adverse Childhood Trauma that affects your life today... The list goes on.
I am sorry if this post triggers some emotions but it's good to take up the challenge and start the healing process. I have said this again and again and since repetition is good for emphasis let me say it again, I don't agree with the phrase that, "time is a healer it heals all wounds". No it's not time, as a Psychotherapist I have seen people hurting and grieving for years, for decades and they wonder how come they have not healed yet. They ask me, Isaac Maweu how come I keep oscillating this pain even after years? I thought I got over it but whenever I see this picture I find myself going back?...
Someone wrote this in a WhatsApp group that I am in. "Delusion doesn’t always look like madness—it often looks like normal life filled with unspoken trauma, emotional numbing, or people-pleasing...."
Ladies and gentlemen, ..."when we begin to face reality, we unlock our potential. Reality is not the enemy—it is the beginning of change..."
I encourage you today to begin the Healing Journey with me. I challenge you to take that simple but bold step to start therapy, you will thank yourself later for having started going for therapy. Remember in my book IN PURSUIT OF YOUR DREAMS I have taught with emphasis that ACTION BEATS INACTION.

“I’ll be 60 next year. And I’m not here to impress anyone. I’ve been the champion. I’ve been the villain. I’ve had gold around my waist and nothing in my soul. Now? I just want peace. Everything else is noise.”

I grew up where love was tough and fists were currency.
I didn’t learn kindness — I learned survival.
By 13, I was arrested 38 times.
By 20, I was the youngest heavyweight champion in history.
They called me “Iron Mike” — like I wasn’t supposed to bleed.

I had money, fame, mansions, tigers, private jets…
But I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t breathe.
The world saw knockouts.
I saw ghosts.

At 40, I started asking better questions.
Not “how do I win?”
But “why was I always fighting in the first place?”

And the truth?
I wasn’t fighting the other guy.
I was fighting myself. My fear. My father’s silence. My mother’s pain. My own shame.

Now, at 70, I’m not chasing anything.
I grow mushrooms.
I hug my pigeons.
I walk barefoot on grass and cry sometimes for no reason at all.

I talk more about forgiveness than uppercuts.
I don’t need the belt. I don’t need the roar of a crowd.
I just want to eat good fruit, tell the truth, and die knowing I broke the cycle.

If you want to know what greatness is — it’s not dominance. It’s healing.

It’s walking away from the thing that used to destroy you — and choosing not to destroy others with it.

Dropped my daughter off at daycare and she said:

"DAD, yesterday Miss Kita bit me!”

I’m like "WHO TF IS MISS KITA?! WTF DOES SHE THINK SHE IS🤨"

She said, “Miss Kita…you know her?😐”

Now I’m marching in there like a concerned parent and a detective—“Which one of y’all is Miss Kita biting my baby?!”😤🕵🏽‍♂️

Her teacher said, “Umm…we don’t have a Miss Kita…but a mosquito did bite her yesterday.”😭🦟

I looked at my daughter like—GIRLLLL. you better pronounce them syllables before I end up in the 7 o'clock BREAKING NEWS💀🤣
