FIGHT CLEAN, NOT DIRTY
Fight your battles with dignity for the sun will rise again.
Some days are sunny, some days cloudy.
The clouds may hide the sun, but it is still up there, behind the clouds.
Fight your battles with dignity, expecting to win but preparing to lose. No situation is permanent.
Select which battles to fight, for not every battle is worth your time and energy.
There are casualties in every battle ground, you are not an exception. Expect to get hurt, sometimes badly.
Do not allow your emotions to fool you, when all is over, and sobriety returns, you'll want to meet the former you, and say "girl(boy), I tried".
If it's not over, do whatever it takes to salvage it. You could be closer to victory than when you started. Like an old broom, that knows every corner, sweep through your life keenly. You might get the cockroach that's eating your joy.
Be as objective as you can. You may win, you may also lose. Be ready for either. Ask a friend or a relative for their honest view of your situation. They may notice something in your 3rd and 4th quarter of Johari Window.
But if it is over, let it be. Rest your case. Rise up! Dust yourself. Cry! Scream! Shout if you must. Let it go. But don't do anything silly. You are not the first to go through it, neither will you be the last. In a few weeks time, it'll be history.
Pick up your broken pieces. Someone needs them. Patch them up. They may not come back to their original state, but that's it. The battle is over. Life is worth living. Count your blessings. I'm one of them.
