Is ultrasound only usefully in checking the baby or do I need scan only if I feel like I have some discomfort?
The answer is no, you need not to have discomfort or complications to be scanned. Ultrasound will not be also used in only knowing the condition of the baby, but it also diagnoses possible complications during birth. Ultrasound is also useful in checking other abdominal organs, cause of abdominal pain, pelvic pain, infections, discharge, checking condition of reproductive organs, pain on urination etc for both ladies and gentlemen.
