🌸 Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🌸

In line with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our dedicated staff and volunteers from St. Matia Mulumba Mission Hospital, officially commissioned by our CEO Fr. David Kinyanjui, took part in a Cancer Awareness Walk around Makongeni estates ,and Makongeni Bus stage.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ The walk aimed at sensitizing the community on cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of regular screening.

This also marked the official launch of our Cancer Awareness Week, happening from 27th–31st October at the hospital.

🎗️ We welcome the community to join us throughout the week for free screenings, health talks, and empowerment activities as we stand together against cancer.

🎗️ Mwezi wa Uhamasisho wa Saratani ya Matiti 🎗️

Kwa kuzingatia kuwa mwezi wa Oktoba ni mwezi wa uhamasisho wa saratani ya matiti, wafanyakazi na wajitoleaji wa Hospitali ya St. Matia Mulumba Mission, wakiongozwa na Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa hospitali, walifanya matembezi ya uhamasisho katika mitaa ya Makongeni na mji wa Thika.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Lengo kuu lilikuwa kutoa elimu kwa jamii kuhusu kinga, uchunguzi wa mapema, na umuhimu wa kupima mara kwa mara.

Matembezi haya pia yalikuwa ishara ya uzinduzi rasmi wa Wiki ya Uhamasisho wa Saratani, itakayofanyika kuanzia tarehe 27 hadi 31 Oktoba hapa hospitalini.
