What a year 2023 has been. I have not taught a class since May (other than a few private classes) and I have sure missed it.
In January I began working full time for Richland County Housing Authority and have recognized the need for senior advocacy, so that is what I do full time now. I help seniors find resources, continue their benefits, and provide them with services to help them stay living independently for as long as possible. It may have its highs and lows, but it truly fills my heart.
I plan to keep this page, because I will evenly offer classes again. Work, mom life, and all my projects I like to take on has stretched me thin. These days I am working on self-care and getting my yoga practice back. Working at a desk for two years has wrecked my back. I will start sharing the online yoga challenges I've been doing that has helped me feel so much better.
I miss my yoga community and hope you all are doing well! I decided recently I need to be a student again. I am making it a priority to get to yoga/exercise classes this fall. I love in person classes, so if you ever want to catch a class together, please reach out. I'd love that!
Lastly, as you can see Adopt-A-Senior Richland Co. MT is continuing this year. It will be the 3rd annual AAS fundraiser, and I am so excited to get this program going. If you haven't yet, please follow the page and help support the cause. It's a wonderful non-profit that provides Christmas gifts to our senior community. All your love and support has meant so much to me and all of the recipients.
Well, I am still here so feel free to contact me anytime for anything! I still love this community and love to see you all in passing!
