Because uterine cancer doesn’t get the attention it deserves.
We at Being Africa joined the Challenge by the IGCS.org, but we didn’t do it quietly.
We jumped in Nairobi’s busiest street, surrounded by traffic, commuters, and vendors.
Why? To disrupt. To provoke. To start a conversation about a cancer that’s often overlooked, and often diagnosed too late.
Uterine cancer affects millions of women globally. Yet in Africa, it's still not part of mainstream health discussions.
It's time to change that. 🛑
We jumped:
✅ For the women battling this disease silently
✅ For stronger health systems
✅ For early detection
✅ For prevention, policy, and a healthier future for all
📸 Our photo shows us mid-air. But it’s more than a jump, it’s a statement. A commitment.
Because staying still is not an option when lives are at stake.
🗣️ Join us. Talk about it. Demand action. Jump—literally or figuratively—for women’s health.
It’s not every day that you see people leaping into the air in the middle of Nairobi’s bustling central business district. Matatus honk, vendors hustle, and office workers flow like a river on a mission.
