*Strengthening Diagnostic Services at Mulele Dispensary*

Laboratory services play a critical role in modern healthcare by supporting accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and proper disease monitoring. Recognizing this importance, Mulele Dispensary has successfully uplifted and improved its Laboratory Room as part of the facility’s ongoing upgrading plans.

The renovation has created a more conducive working environment for laboratory personnel and improved the capacity of the facility to provide timely and reliable diagnostic services to our patients. With improved infrastructure and better organization of laboratory services, clinicians are now better supported to make evidence-based decisions that lead to improved patient care.

The upgraded laboratory will enhance the diagnosis and management of common diseases, support maternal and child health services, and strengthen disease surveillance within the community. This milestone reflects the commitment of Mulele Dispensary to continuously improve healthcare delivery and prepare the facility for future upgrade to a Level 3A Hospital and eventually a Level 4 Hospital.

🏥 MULELE DISPENSARY PHARMACY UPDATE

We are pleased to inform the community that Mulele Dispensary Pharmacy is now well stocked with essential medicines following support from SHA–PHC Funding.

Through this support, the facility has received a wide range of pharmaceutical supplies that will greatly improve service delivery and ensure patients receive the medicines they need on time.

This achievement was made possible after successful procurement through MEDS, with approvals from the FIFOC Committee and AIE authorization.

We appreciate the continued support from the Ministry of Health, SHA-PHC program, and County Government of Vihiga in strengthening healthcare services.

*Healthcare Strengthening at Mulele Dispensary*

Today, Mulele Dispensary successfully received a large consignment of pharmaceuticals, non-pharmaceuticals and laboratory supplies from MEDS procured through SHA–PHC funds following approval by the Facility Oversight Committee (FIFOC) and AIE authorization.

The supplies include essential medicines, medical consumables and laboratory commodities that will strengthen diagnosis, treatment and overall healthcare services at the facility.

This milestone will greatly improve service delivery and ensure continuous availability of essential health commodities for our community.

Together we continue strengthening Primary Healthcare and improving the wellbeing of our people.
