𝟏. 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝:
The arterial supply of the hand primarily comes from the radial and ulnar arteries, which form two main arches:
• Superficial Palmar Arch:
• Mostly formed by the ulnar artery, sometimes completed by a branch of the radial artery.
• Lies just under the skin and superficial fascia of the palm.
• Gives rise to common palmar digital arteries, which further divide into proper palmar digital arteries supplying the fingers.
• Deep Palmar Arch:
• Formed mainly by the radial artery, often completed by the ulnar artery.
• Lies deep to the flexor tendons.
• Gives off palmar metacarpal arteries that anastomose with the common palmar digital arteries.

𝟐. 𝐕𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝:
Veins of the hand are mostly superficial and communicate with deep veins. Key veins include:
• Dorsal Venous Network:
• Visible on the back of the hand.
• Drains into the cephalic vein (lateral side) and basilic vein (medial side).
• Superficial Palmar Veins:
• Accompany the superficial arteries and help return blood from the fingers.
• Deep Palmar Veins:
• Follow the arteries, including the radial and ulnar arteries, and drain into the forearm veins.

𝟑. 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞:
• Arteries supply oxygenated blood to support movement and sensation.
• Veins ensure efficient blood return to maintain circulation.
• The rich anastomoses between radial and ulnar arteries protect against ischemia if one artery is blocked.

The Rhombus of Michaelis, also known as the Michaelis-Raute, is a diamond-shaped area on the lower back. It is defined by four anatomical landmarks:
* The dimples of Venus (posterior superior iliac spines)
* The top of the gluteal cleft (sacral vertebra S5)
* The lower end of the lumbar spine (approximately at L5)
During the second stage of labor, this area exhibits increased mobility. The backward movement of the sacrum and the outward flaring of the iliac wings enlarge the pelvic outlet, facilitating the baby's passage through the birth canal. This phenomenon is often referred to as the "opening of the back" and is a natural part of the birthing process.

📏 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐣𝐨𝐯 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐱

The Solovjov Index is an anthropometric measurement used to assess bone thickness, which can be indicative of pelvic dimensions. It is determined by measuring the circumference of the wrist joint:
* Solovjov Index = Wrist Circumference (in centimeters)
In obstetrics, this index helps estimate the obstetric conjugate diameter of the pelvis, which is crucial for evaluating whether a woman can safely deliver vaginally. A standard method involves subtracting a coefficient from the external conjugate measurement, with the coefficient value influenced by the Solovjov Index .

Ensure effective time management and read the questions attentively. Stay vigilant and double-check your answers before submission.

⚕️𝑨𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 , 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒎:❤️

1. Prioritize calmness before the exam. Consider listening to music or engaging in prayer or meditation if it helps.
2. Have a light meal before heading out, avoiding excessive sweets.
3. Upon reaching the exam center, check the restroom facilities before starting the exam.
4. For menstruating individuals, carry a sanitary pad even if you're not currently menstruating.
5. Don't hesitate to ask invigilators for the time, I did it frequently.
6. Avoid making assumptions until the exam concludes.
7. Ensure that if you skip a question, you mark it correctly afterward.
8. Don't dwell too long on problems you can't solve (even if it's your strongest subject). Remember, the final exam isn't about your ego.
9. Use the rough sheet efficiently (label questions numbers near your rough work) so you can revisit it if necessary.
10. Carry a handkerchief and a water bottle, as you never know if the exam hall lacks proper ventilation.
11. Prioritize adequate sleep the night before (aim for a minimum of 7 hours).
12. Store all required documents in a plastic file to protect them from any harm.
