🌳 Students and teachers of the Faculty of Medicine are actively involved in greening our country! Yesterday we planted 15 seedlings of various trees as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic UP No. 305 “On National Cleanup Day and planned actions for the effective use of household waste for the period 2023-2025.” 🌿

This initiative, which will continue on an ongoing basis, symbolizes the friendship between Kyrgyzstan, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Foreign students also joined us, wanting to contribute to the environmental safety of the country. 🤝🌏

Dear Pakistani and Indian Students,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am deeply saddened by the recent incidents affecting foreign students in Kyrgyzstan, which are actions I never imagined would occur.

On behalf of those narrow-minded individuals, I sincerely apologize to all foreign students and foreigners who feel unsafe and discriminated against.

It is unfortunate that the actions of a few can tarnish the reputation of an entire nation.
Kyrgyzstan is a country that values hospitality and kindness, and it is our responsibility to spread awareness that
KYRGYZ PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY TO ALL PEOPLE, NO MATTER WHAT.

Kyrgyzstan enjoys strong and positive relations with both Pakistan and India. Our ties are rooted in mutual respect, cultural exchange, and shared aspirations for peace and development. These relationships are a testament to our commitment to fostering goodwill and understanding between our nations.

Information about the University
Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn Faculty of Medicine is registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic at Bishkek (capital) Frunze 547, licensed in the field of higher professional education.
The higher educational institution is designed to train qualified specialists in the medical field both for the Kyrgyz Republic and for other countries of the world, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Nigeria, America, Turkey and Egypt .
Doctors and candidates of medical sciences participate in the training process. The combination of the use of modern training programs, technical material and technical base, new teaching technologies and qualified teachers contributes to improving the quality of education. At the departments of the institute, problems of fundamental and applied research in the priority direction of medicine will be solved.

General Medicine is a basic medical specialty that allows you to work as a paramedic or doctor in most medical organizations. A doctor can master a narrower specialization, and a paramedic can undergo retraining in a related field. Training is conducted at the KNU named after Zhusup Balasagyn.

Ata-Beyit (translated from Kyrgyz as “Tomb of the Fathers”) is a memorial complex located 25 kilometers south of Bishkek, in the town of Chon-Tash at the foothills of the Kyrgyz ridge.
The Ata-Beyit memorial complex was created in 2000. It immortalizes the memory of the victims of the Stalinist repressions of 1937-40, during which such prominent figures of the Kyrgyz Soviet Republic as Yusup Abdrakhmanov, Bayaly Isakeev, Kasym Tynystanov and Torokul Aitmatov, the father of the world famous writer Chingiz Aitmatov, were unjustly convicted and executed.
This burial place is the only established burial place of victims of Stalin’s terror on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The number of those executed was 137 people.
On the territory of the complex there is a museum dedicated to the victims, as well as pages of the country’s history in the 1920-1930s.
