The Environmental Health Department will be conducting fogging exercises from 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟐–𝟏𝟒 to reduce mosquito breeding and help prevent Dengue, Zika, and Chikungunya.⁣
⁣
✅ Open your windows and doors during fogging for full coverage.⁣
⚠️ If you have asthma or are sensitive to insecticides, please step away from the area temporarily.⁣

The Community Mental Health Team hosted a special Elderly Education Session on Loneliness for 15 older adults at the Newtown Community Center.⁣
⁣
The session—𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐂𝐃𝐅—focused on the importance of connection, companionship, and emotional wellness among older adults.⁣
⁣
As part of this uplifting initiative, the team collaborated with the 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 and Ms. Petra Newton of the Cosmetology Department to pamper participants with pedicures and foot scrubs.⁣

💅 During the self-care session, participants were serenaded by Mr. Eldon John, filling the room with warmth, smiles, and song.⁣
⁣
The Ministry of Health extends heartfelt thanks to all partners and supporters for helping promote holistic care and dignity for our senior citizens.⁣

Mosquitoes that spread Dengue, Chikungunya, and Zika breed in still water — 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡!

✅ Check your surroundings weekly
✅ Empty or cover containers that hold water
✅ Clean drains and gutters
✅ Dispose of bottles, cans, and old tires properly

Even a small cap of water can breed hundreds of mosquitoes, increasing the risk of Dengue, Zika, and Chikungunya.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩:
✅ Empty and cover containers that hold water
✅ Clean your drains and gutters
✅ Dispose of old tires and bottles
✅ Change water in flower vases every 2–3 days

Triage is the system we use at JNF Hospital to ensure that the sickest patients are seen first, based on the urgency of their condition — not the order they arrive. Over the next few days, we’ll walk you through the 4 color-coded categories used in triage. Stay informed!

Today, we’re starting with the most urgent category: 🔴 RED.
This level is for patients who need immediate life-saving treatment.
