One of our customers asked if gift wrapping was possible in Korea, and the answer is YES!
If you aren't skilled enough to wrap up beautiful presents, you can have them professional wrapped by taking them into a department store near you and having it done.
A lot of department stores like Lotte, Sinsaegae, etc, have what is called a 선물포장코너 which means "gift wrapping corner". This service can be offered for free inside of some brand stores if you are at a more high end place. Or you can bring your gifts into a place near you and have it done.
The price varies depending on size of box, style of wrapping, and of course the type of store you are in.
Just go into a department store near you and ask about their gift wrapping services, and make your gifts beautiful!

Happy Sunday!
I hope you all enjoyed this past week. Hopefully it wasn't too cold for you.
Many foreigners who live in Korea don't opt to get a car. Gas, insurance and car repairs are expenses many would like to avoid. Also, the public transportation in Korea is grade A.
However during the winter months, you really start to feel the effect of not having a car especially when it comes to grocery shopping. Walking to the store and then lugging bags of groceries back can be a pain when it's cold and snowy outside.
But of course there is a solution for that!
Most Korean grocery stores and mart actually offer grocery delivery as a service. Just call in your grocery list, and spend their minimum amount and they will delivery all of your items to your front door the same day.
All you have to do is pay for the order once it arrives.
Can't speak Korean well? Don't worry about it. Send us a message with your full grocery list and we will find a place near your that can delivery the products you need right to your apartment. And you don't even have to get bundled up to get the things you need!
-Team Jusaeyo!

Seasons greetings!

I know, I know. It is STILL November. But it is the very last day of the month so I think we have some leeway here. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
It's the end of the year and a time of celebration for most people. With Christmas and New Year's just around the corner, it is time to get plans in order for how to spend these holidays.
Some people like to travel to another country, go back to their home country, hit the mountains for skiing and snowboarding, get a package at a hotel and spa, or just have a nice and quiet party at home with close friends and family in Korea.
Jusaeyo believes that during the holidays it is important to take some time to treat yourself. The year is almost over and we like to start the new year on a high note, so we plan on doing something near and dear to us: Eating at a buffet.
We've been saving all year just to ring in 2016 with a trip to the Parkview restaurant in Shilla Hotel and we're so EXCITED! Got our buffet pants ready and everything. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
How will you be treating yourself this holiday season?
-Team Jusaeyo!

It can be difficult to spend the holidays away from your family and friends. So, Team Jusaeyo would like to wish you a happy and hearty Thanksgiving in Korea. Eat some turkey for us!

Or have text written in Korean and need someone to explain what it says in English? Let Jusaeyo help you with it!
Several people have asked if Jusaeyo offers translation along with our interpretation services and the answer is YES!
When you don't speak Korean that well, one great way to communicate with the Koreans around you (i.e. neighbor, landlord, deliveryman, security guard, solicitors, etc) is to leave a little note somewhere you know they will get it.
This helps you avoid the pressures of communication barriers for you and the other person.
Jusaeyo can also read over a letter, document, email, notice, guide, signs etc written in Korean and and explain what they say in English so that you know what to do next.
Very basic translations start out at 3,000 won and increase based on complexity and length. All translations are done by native-speakers of each language with advanced knowledge of the other. So, all cultural nuance will be captured and conveyed in a way understood by the native speaker it is written for.
To have us translate something for you, please contact us on Kakao Talk at jusaeyo. Enjoy the rest of this rainy weekend!

Many waygooks living in Korea have definitely ended up paying more for the same product or service that a Korean has gotten for cheaper. This is something that happens all the time. However, it can be avoided if you know how the game is played.
Please stay tuned for the next couple of days because we are working on a new idea we think you're going to like!
