I’m so happy to announce that Sandra’s Cookies Korea is committed to donating a portion of proceeds to support the Women’s Hope Center!
I remember attending a charity event in 2011 to support this vision to build a safe-place for women who are in crisis due to unexpected pregnancy. Unfortunately, in Korea there is still a deep social stigma attached to being a single/young woman found to be pregnant, and very few places for these women to go for help.
Women’s Hope Center is located in Pohang and has been helping women since 2012. At WHC women in crisis can receive counseling, education, community, a safe place to birth and, (for those that choose to) their raise children until they are able to do so on their own or safely return home.

I hope everyone is well in this new year!
I had a couple of requests from some dear customers regarding the Valentine sets. One was for smaller cookies and another was for a fun kit for ladies to do with their favorite galentines! I looked it up and Galentines Day was first coined by Amy Poehler declaring Feb 13 as a day for “Ladies celebrating Ladies”! I’m all for it!
So here it is, a fun little sugar cookie kit for one and all~! Featuring some beautiful new neutral tones 💕

Full disclosure: I’m not very good at decorating cookies!!
I am getting better at florals and other designs that are more abstract, but anything that requires precision, such as straight lines, perfect circles or any kind of text, makes me nervous and more shaky than usual! 🥴😅
But I love doing it, and so do my girls~! (This is why I sell DIY cookie kits!)
There’s nothing quite like a fresh batch of cookies and some pretty icing to lure my kids (away from devices) to the table to get creative and talking!
We made this batch for the kids teachers who are still going to school everyday and offering online classes for extra help over the break!!
So thankful for our wonderful teachers💕

I get on my sons case a lot for being so computer/game obsessed, but then he goes and creates stuff like this for me!! He made the cookie cutters with his 3D printer, helped decorate the cookies, took photos of the cookies and made this poster #홈메이드쿠키 #슈가쿠키

These are the cookie kits I made and sold through a small but wonderful FB group called Made With Love Korea. I even got a custom decorated cookie order! It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun! And what better time than now to launch a home based business! I’m a self-taught baker and still have a lot to learn, but I love to make and eat sugar cookies, it keep me super busy, my kids love to help, and I’m making a little money too!
It’s the perfect at-home activity for kids and adults alike!
