🏨 Shihwa Medical Center’s Strong Step Toward Nurturing Global Healthcare Talent! 😊

Shihwa Medical Center has successfully completed the “2025 🇰🇷 Gyeonggi International Medical Coordinator Training Program for New Recruits”!

This program was designed to train 🌎 international medical coordinators capable of supporting not only foreign patient care and interpretation, but also tourism and marketing. Around 30 students from seven countries, including 🇨🇳 China, 🇻🇳 Vietnam, and 🇷🇺 Russia, took part.

With hands-on training, CPR sessions, and local sightseeing tours, the program received enthusiastic feedback from participants. It was a meaningful milestone, marking Shihwa Medical Center’s leap forward as an official provider of international medical education!

National Liberation Day of Korea or 광복절 (Gwangbokjeol) is a public holiday and celebrated 🎉 on the 15th of August annually. Gwangbokjeol literally means 🌅 “The day the light returned“, symbolizing South Korea’s freedom from the Japanese Imperialism in 1945 at the end of World War II. You may be seeing a lot of flags all around Korea on that day, even your neighbor’s homes will be decked out in the South Korean flag (Taegeukgi). 🇰🇷
