• PRRD is in the hospital wing of the detention center. He is in good spirit. He is well taken care of but he misses Filipino food.
• The visit lasted for an hour from 4pm to 5pm.
• We did not discuss his initial appearance at the ICC. We only discussed the lawyers and his legal team.
• I did not know that he is appearing before the livestream. I think it is the decision of the doctor.
• I will not leave until a next relative comes.
• PRRD asked me to go home. He repeatedly said do not leave the Philippines.
• I told him when we are able with the legal team I will immediately return home.
• The President appointed Nicholas Kaufman as his lawyer.
• Very limited people have access to PRRD right now.
• We met in the Visitors Area.
• PRRD looked well rested.
• PRRD misses paksiw.
• On the search warrant on all the houses of the family, I just told my siblings to secure their valuables and expect planted evidence.
• It is really kidnapping -- just see the comments from experts all around the world.
• That is forcibly taking my father in another country and illegally arresting him. That is kidnapping.
• Interim release is a legal strategy. I would leave it to the lawyers if they want to talk about it to the press.
• I told PRRD that people are crying and that they are depressed about what happened. And he said, sabihin mo sa kanila, relax lang. May hangganan ang lahat. There will be a day of reckoning for all.
• I’d like to thank all our countrymen for your prayers and your profound support to the former President. We can feel your love and we can feel your anger. We can empathize with everyone’s rage about what happened. Let us not forget the real issues in our country – that is poverty, corruption, the failure of the government to answer the demands from the people about accountability and transparency, and the failure of the government to address peace and security.
