HOW TO CARE AND TREAT OIL HAIR
+ Greasy hair always makes you feel uncomfortable. Here are a few tips to help you deal with oily hair. Normally, sebum is an oily substance that makes hair smooth, soft, and waterproof. But the more oil there is, the greasy your hair will be.
There are two types of oily hair. Oily hair from root to tip and scalp, or the scalp is oily but the hair is dry.
+ Oily hair is often difficult to style because they easily get sticky. But if you leave your hair like that, it can easily lead to long-term problems like scalp flaking, hair loss or dandruff. It can also lead to scalp infections.
HOW TO TREAT OIL HAIR?
You can follow these steps:
Regular shampooing is a great way to reduce the amount of oil produced as well as the amount of oil in the hair and scalp. So washing your hair every day will help you avoid oily hair and oily skin
- Wash your hair by gently scratching it. Scratching, massaging, and washing your hands vigorously will make the situation even worse because it stimulates the sebaceous glands to produce more oil.
- Wash your hair with warm water, or cold water instead of hot water. However, it is best to rinse with cold water. This way you will reduce the amount of oil produced.
Use an oil-control shampoo if your hair falls into this category.
Use shampoo products specially formulated for the scalp. Note that you should not apply this oil to the body and roots of the hair because they need natural oils.
- Remove excess oil from hair using blotting paper.
Do not tie or force your hair close to the scalp as this will allow the oil to stick from the scalp to the rest of the hair.
- Only brush or stroke your hair when you need to style it. Hard combs and fingertips can stimulate the sebaceous glands to secrete more and cause more oil to be applied to the hair.
Avoid using moisturizing shampoos. This oil is usually designed to prevent dry hair by providing extra oil to the hair.
- Use hair conditioner immediately after shampooing. Wash the roots of the hair close to the scalp, using only the oil for the body and the ends of the hair.
- Avoid using headbands as this will make it easier for the oil to stick to your skin and make your problem even more troublesome.
