EOFlow Installs a Full-Auto Manufacturing Line at Gonjiam Facility

EOFlow announced on February 2nd that the Company installed a new, fully automated manufacturing line, capable of producing 3 million units of wearable insulin pump the ‘EOPatch’ per year at its new Gonjiam facility. With the addition, the Company is ready to meet the anticipated pent-up demand. The Company says the ongoing facility expansion work is scheduled to complete by the end of March.

이오플로우 유럽 파트너사 메나리니가 이오패치 및 모바일 앱 나르샤를 9월 1일 유럽에서 정식 런칭합니다.
이오패치는 지난해 5월 유럽 CE 인증을 받고 유럽 수출길을 열었지만 코로나19 팬데믹으로 인해 메나리니의 공식 런칭이 지연돼 왔습니다.

그동안 메나리니는 이탈리아, 영국, 스페인, 독일 등 유럽 10개 국가에 제품 등록을 마쳤고 인슐린 주입기 입찰에 참여해 성과를 내는 등 제품 런칭을 위한 사전 준비를 했습니다.

이오플로우는 아랍에미리트의 의료유통 전문기업 걸프드럭(Gulf Drug)과 웨어러블 인슐린 펌프 ‘이오패치’ 판매 공급계약을 체결했다고 31일 밝혔습니다.

이번 계약을 통해 걸프드럭에는 웨어러블 인슐린 펌프 ‘이오패치’에 대해 5년간 독점판매 권한이 부여된다. 판매지역은 걸프협력회의 국가인 GCC 6개국(아랍에미리트, 사우디아라비아, 카타르, 쿠웨이트, 오만, 바레인)입니다.

회사 측은 당뇨인구가 많은 해외시장 공략에 속도를 낸다는 방침입니다. 이오플로우는 지난해 9월 메나리니를 통해 첫 유럽 수출을 진행, 지난해 12월 중국 최대 혈당계 업체인 시노케어와의 합작을 통한 중국 시장 진출계획의 발표 및 인도네시아 및 콜롬비아와 대규모 공급계약을 체결한 데 이어 이번 중동지역 공급계약을 통해 주요 해외시장 진출에 속도를 내고 있습니다.

EOFlow Co. Ltd., a provider of wearable drug delivery solutions, announced on March 31 that it has signed a contract with Gulf Drug of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to supply 48.8 billion won (US$40 million) worth of EOPatch, a disposable and wearable insulin pump, over the course of five years.

Through this contract, Gulf Drug will be granted exclusive sales rights for the innovative wearable insulin pump EOPatch in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for five years. The GCC’s six members are the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain.

EOFlow announces board member change to sharpen its focus on the US market. Mr. Luis Malave resigned from his position as a board member of the Korean entity to step up his focus on running the US operation which is increasingly becoming more important for the company.

EOFlow US is working on developing an insulin pump solution for Type-2 diabetes (T2D) and an integrated wearable artificial pancreas solution.

Mr. Malave is the president of EOFlow, Inc. (EOFlow US), a wholly-owned subsidiary of EOFlow Co., Ltd. in the US, and had been serving as a board member of EOFlow since 2017.

The company is also working on the submission of EOPatch to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for certification - much sooner than earlier planned.

Mr. Malave remains committed to the long-term success of the company, as well as to the long-term holdings of his stocks acquired through the recent stock option exercise.

이오플로우는 최근 서울 삼성동 오크우드 호텔에서 센서 분리형 웨어러블 인공췌장 ‘이오패치 X’의 확증임상시험 수행을 위한 연구자 미팅을 개최했습니다.

이번 미팅을 시작으로 이오플로우는 국내 9개 종합병원에서 100명 이상의 1형 당뇨인을 대상으로 ‘이오패치 X’ 확증임상연구를 본격적으로 진행합니다.

‘이오패치 X’는 연속혈당측정기와 폐회로 인공췌장 알고리즘을 웨어러블 인슐린 펌프에 연계한 제품으로, 사용자 혈당에 따라 자동으로 인슐린 주입이 조절되는 센서 분리형 웨어러블 인공췌장입니다. 기존의 혈당 측정기로 혈당값을 측정하고 기저 인슐린 주입량을 계산해 주입하는 기존 제품의 과정을 획기적으로 줄여 사용자의 편의성을 극대화했습니다.

EOFlow's founder and CEO Jesse Kim had an interview with edaily on February 16.

He announced EOFlow's plan to enter the U.S. market with its current disposable wearable insulin pump 'EOPatch'. The Company will begin its submission process to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as early as first half of the year, and commercially launch the product next year.

‘EOPatch’ was fully launched in South Korea in April and the Company expanded its reach to Europe, starting with the first shipment completed in September. EOFlow's European partner company, Menarini will progressively launch the product in Europe from the first half of 2022.

He mentioned three key points for investing in EOFlow: growth potential, platform technology, and under-valuation.

EOFlow Co. Ltd., a wearable healthcare company, announced its provisional financial statements for the full year of 2021 on Feb. 14, 2022, after the close of the financial markets.

EOFlow announced its provisional consolidated financial statements: full year 2021 revenue of 693.3 million won, an increase of 3,101.5% compared to the prior year, operating loss of 26.9 billion won, and net loss of 29.4 billion won.

“EOFlow’s disposable wearable insulin pump ‘EOPatch’ was fully launched in South Korea in April and the company expanded its reach to Europe, starting with the first shipment completed in September. Our European partner company, Menarini will progressively launch the product in Europe from the first half of 2022, which can lead to significant sales growth," an IR official at EOFlow said.
