Today, on International Nurses Day, we celebrate the compassion, strength, and dedication of nurses everywhere, but especially the incredible nurses here at Jasmine who provide comfort, dignity, and care to patients and families across the Cayman Islands.

In palliative and hospice care, nursing is more than a profession; it's also presence, kindness, reassurance, and advocacy during life’s most important moments.

The DG5K series concludes in Grand Cayman. Residents and visitors are invited to take part in the Deputy Governor’s 5K Challenge on Sunday, 29 March 2026 at 6:30am.

This closing race also marks the final DG5K hosted under the leadership of Deputy Governor Hon. Franz Manderson, making it a special moment in the event’s long-standing tradition.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the DG5K run in Cayman Brac yesterday!🏃‍♀🏃‍♂️ Your energy and support made it an incredible event. We are especially grateful to the Deputy Governor, Franz Manderson, for selecting Jasmine as one of the charities benefiting from the races, your support means the world to us.

It was wonderful to have our Chairperson, Joanna Humphries, not only attend but also take part in the race. Thank you, Joanna, for showing such amazing spirit!
