World Bank calls for improved standards in Lao road building

World Bank delegates recently inspected National Highway 2W in Oudomxay province, stressing the importance of quality, safety, and sustainbility in road construction. It is a major road upgrade project implemented under the Southeast Asia Regional Economic Corridor and Connestivity Project.
The inspection was led by World Bank Country Director for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, Ms Mariam J. Sherman, together with World Bank Country Manager for Laos, Mr Khwima Nthara. (Read more below⬇️⬇️)
