📽 MOVIE ANALYSIS 📽

🎞 Rain Man is a beautiful movie about Autism and Savant Syndrome. Autism is a developmental and neurological disorder caused by differences in the brain in which the person struggles with the ability to communicate, learn, and behave.

Savant syndrome is a condition where someone with mental disabilities has an exceptional talent and intelligence.

The movie was released in 1988, research about autism wasn't that advanced. However, the movie did seem to shed some light. Do note that cases of autism differ from one individual to the other, so one case cannot be generalized.

*not all savants are autistic, and not everyone with autism is a savant.

الصدمة الجماعية هي ردة فعل نفسية مشتركة لحدث مروع وصادم يمسُّ المجتمع بأكمله، وتتمثَّل بالشعور بالعجز والارتباك والتوتر.

كيف يمكننا علاج الصدمة الجماعية والتعامل معها؟
- تقليل وقت التعرُّض إلى مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ونشرات الأخبار
-البحث عن طريقة لمساعدة
-تواصل مع أصدقائك وعائلتك، وعبِّر عن مشاعرك مهما كانت.
-خذ استراحة، ولا تُهمل صحتك الجسدية، واحرص على النوم ساعاتٍ كافية.
-اكتب ما يجول في خاطرك على ورقة أو دفتر يومياتك.
