Pharmaline x AUB: Academia Meets Industry

AUB and Pharmaline Strengthen Academic–Industry Collaboration
The American University of Beirut (AUB), through its Department of Chemistry, is expanding its collaboration with Pharmaline to advance research and practical applications in pharmaceutical science.

As part of this ongoing partnership, Dr. Antoine Ghauch and graduate student Mohamad Wardani visited Pharmaline’s research and analytical laboratories to review scientific literature, explore the company’s analytical and production facilities, and discuss opportunities for joint research. The visit focused on connecting AUB’s academic expertise with Pharmaline’s applied experience in formulation and analytical development.

Both teams also explored ways to incorporate environmental considerations into analytical methods, combining AUB’s research innovations with Pharmaline’s technical infrastructure.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to bridging academia and industry, fostering mutual learning, and contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical research and sustainable practices in Lebanon.

As part of the Francophone Economic Mission in Lebanon, Pharmaline and Cosmaline had the pleasure of welcoming pharmaceutical companies from Francophone countries to our manufacturing sites.

During their visit, guests discovered Pharmaline’s EU GMP–certified manufacturing site and the high-quality standards behind our operations. From laboratory workflows to production lines, the visit offered a clear view of how compliance and disciplined processes drive our commitment to trusted pharmaceutical manufacturing.

They also explored Cosmaline’s advanced personal-care production facilities, where innovation, rigorous quality control, and internationally aligned standards shape every product we create.

What began as a networking encounter quickly became a meaningful space for dialogue. Companies exchanged perspectives, explored potential collaborations, and discovered the depth of expertise brought to the region.
