Educator by nature, I am a practicing coach, counsellor, and islamic-somatic psychotherapist. Spearheading paradigmatic work in Holistic Islamic Personal Education and Leadership, I founded Elymu in 2014 and have since been focusing on research, development, and consultancy. Before shifting careers, my journey was no less challenging and diverse. I have earned multiple awards as engineer, strategist, and entrepreneur. Tech Consultant and three times co-founder, my experience spans the worlds of big corporate, local and international NGOs, and start-ups in Lebanon and Europe, including Ericsson, UNICEF, and Oxfam. I have been featured on The New York Times, Al-Jazeera Media Channel and other portals. I am an avid reader, a permaculture enthusiast and off-grid living advocate, a horseback rider and scuba diver, a published photographer with an international record, and a friend of the wildlife. A challenger by nature, I have camped on the barren steppes of Mongolia and hiked Mount Kilimanjaro to Uhuru Peak. I am a committed rescue volunteer, and live with my family, my horse, and my three dogs. Read more about my mission here https://medium.com//elymu-the-mission-to-revive-ilm-a835dc0c4ffd
