Sea salt, table fine salt, high-potassium salt and pink salt are all primarily sodium chloride meaning they provide nearly the same sodium percentage.
The main differences are in texture, processing, and trace minerals (and potassium substitution in some blends).
Remember to check that your table salt is iodized. Iodine in everyday salt helps support healthy thyroid function.

Too much salt in your food? 🧂 It’s not just about high blood pressure, it’s about your heart, kidneys, and overall health.
Here’s the good news: the Mediterranean diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats, helps your body flush out excess salt naturally.

Pair that with a healthy weight, regular exercise, less alcohol, no smoking, and enough sleep, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for balanced blood pressure and better wellbeing.
