Anxiety.

It begins when the mind refuses to accept uncertainty. It resists the fact that it doesn’t know what will happen. So it starts spinning. What if this happens? What if that goes wrong?

It begins to imagine the worst.

And the more it tries to solve the uncertainty, the more it discovers how much is out of control. That is what fuels the loop.

But, there is a way out.
And no, it does not require stopping the thoughts but just allowing this simple experience:

“I don’t know what will happen.”

When this is allowed, even for a moment, the loop loses its energy. Because in that moment, you are no longer inside the thought.

You are aware of it.

There is the thought. There is the sensations in the body. And there is also something else. The part that sees.

This is what we call witness consciousness.

It simply notices what is happening now. From here, awareness is higher and emotions come into balance. The thoughts still come but you don’t have to follow each one.

 So next time the “what if” appears. Pause once or twice.
Instead of answering it, just say quietly, “I don’t know.”

Today is the Passover holiday for us.A time that speaks about freedom, spring, and new beginnings.

And honestly, it’s not so simple to feel that when you’re living in a country at war.

And not only here. When we look at the world right now, there is so much chaos, so much polarity, so much uncertainty and tension.

Many people feel caught inside a life they didn’t choose.
It’s easy to slip into anger, into heaviness, into despair.

When we don’t have much control over what is happening outside,whether on the global level or in our personal lives,
we turn inside, the place where we still have a choice.

Do we shut down, close ourselves, become hard, frustrated, full of blame? Or do we stay compassionate, connected to hope, to love, to faith?

Tonight we will sit for the holiday evening, and there is a pretty good chance we’ll spend part of it in the shelter.

And still, we choose what we hold inside, a quiet prayer for a world where people can live in safety be compassionate towards each other and remember our shared humanity beyond fear and division.

On this night, we wish you: May you be loved, may you be loving, may you be free from suffering.

Your phone isn’t the only thing losing battery 🔋

Ever notice how your phone dies fast… even when you barely used it? Then you check and 20 apps are running in the background.

We have those too.

Invisible energy leaks quietly draining us:

• An argument replaying in your mind
• Worry about something that hasn’t happened
• Trying to please someone who doesn’t truly care
• Tension in your body you’ve stopped noticing

These “background apps” are often why you feel exhausted… even on days when you “did nothing.”

The first step to protecting your energy is noticing what’s running in the background.

When we regulate the nervous system and become aware of where energy is leaking, our internal battery lasts much longer.

So our question for you to reflect on:

The topic you chose is Listening Beneath the Noise, and we’re looking forward to exploring it together.

Many reactions in life begin long before we speak or think about them. Something in the body shifts first, and when we learn to stay with that signal instead of immediately reacting to it, a different kind of clarity becomes possible.

In this class we’ll practice exactly that. Slowing down enough to sense what is actually happening in the body and allowing that awareness to guide how we respond.

At Vagabond Temple, we like to remember that every moment can hold awareness.

Whether you’re working, doing the dishes, paying bills, or talking with someone, there’s always a chance to pause and notice what’s happening right now.

No judgment. No overthinking. Just observing.

A simple way to practice this:

Choose three moments in your day, morning, afternoon, and evening. Set a reminder on your phone ⏰🔔

When it goes off, pause for one minute.

Take a breath and ask yourself:
What’s happening right now?

In the body.
In the mind.
In the emotions.

Keep it simple.
No stories, no analysis. Just noticing.

Three minutes a day can slowly build a habit of presence that starts to appear naturally throughout your day.

A small practice that brings awareness into everyday life.

The first course I ever took on my spiritual path was a Reiki course back in 1999.

I didn’t know it at the time, but it opened a gate to something I would fall deeply in love with.

Over the years, I explored many practices and different paths. Meditation, bodywork, contemplative study. Yet Reiki always remained present, quietly shaping my daily practice.

As I went deeper, Reiki became much more than healing techniques. It became a way of refining awareness,
strengthening presence, and experiencing energy in a direct and easy way.

From that place, I built a program that reflects how I live and practice today. A training focused on awareness, presence, and energy healing through Reiki.

In the past year, I have been teaching it mainly online,
in small groups and one-on-one. I’ve seen how this format creates space for a real and personal process. Students develop clear sensitivity, stronger intuition, emotional balance, increased vitality, and the confidence to hold healing space for others.

Reiki begins to feel natural and alive.

There are programs for complete beginners, and for those who already know Reiki and want to go deeper.
