The inauguration of the annual academic sessions of the Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists was held on the 1st of August 2025 at Hotel Kingsbury. Supreme Court Judge Justice Janak De Silva was the chief guest. WPA board member for South Asia, Dr Vinay Kumar was the guest of honour. Prof Miyuru Chandradasa delivered the college oration for this year.

The 22nd annual academic sessions of the Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists commenced yesterday at Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo. Justice Janak De Silva, Judge of the supreme court of Sri Lanka was the chief at the inauguration while Dr Vinay Kumar South Asia Board member for South Asia was the guest of honour.
Prof Miyuru Chandradasa delivered the college oration.

The Cognitive Wellness and Neuropsychiatry Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, has two arms: the Old Age Assessments and Cognitive Stimulation section and the Child Development section. The Rotaract Club of Colombo Uptown and the Rotaract Club of UCFM got together to raise funds to develop the child development section on 24th May. Thank you and well done
