As part of its continuous HRD programme, 3 of TOS Lanka's key manufacturing technology personnel were sent for six months training to TOS Lanka's holding company's facilities in Kyoto.

TOS Lanka celebrated with much pride the Company Quality Awards Ceremony, focusing on a wide range of activities dedicated to ensuring quality compliance with the highest global requirements.

The team is led by Ms. Vageesha Suraweera, our QC Sectional Manager, and her young assistant, Ms. Dushani Sandareka, a fresh graduate from the University of Kelaniya.

TOS Lanka was privileged to have as the Chief Guest Mr. Gayan Thilakarathne, Group Head of Human Resources | MJF Group – Dilmah Tea, and as the Guest of Honour Mr. Pubudu Lakmal Ediriweera, Head of Quality Operations and Compliance-Lanka Harness company.

TOS Lanka was privileged to welcome a top-level delegation from Japan led by Mr. Nagamune of METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), Mr. Numata and Mr. Urata representing Nomura Consultants, with Mr. Palak Agarwal, Investment Strategy Consultant. The theme of this meeting was the possibility of establishment of strategic partnership between South Indian manufacturing and Sri Lankan manufacturing sector with state intervention at the highest levels. The visitors walked around our factory, and they were impressed by TOS Lanka's high-tech electronics manufacturing capabilities.

A delegation from JICA, accompanied by BOI officials, visited TOS Lanka on 29th May 2025 # to study the state of fire protection systems in the operations. This visit is related to the presentation of a firefighting vehicle to the Biyagama Zone by JICA, as a gift from the Government of Japan.
