Surrounded by mountains and lakes, Welikande Estate is peaceful and idyllic nestled in the breathtaking Knuckles Mountain Range, one hour drive from the nearby town of Kandy. As we are up in the sky there are no disturbing neighbours or street noises, allowing you to remain at peace, reflect and really take the time to go deeper with your yogic practise.

While practicing in our purpose built yoga shala you will truly feel at one with nature with the spectacular mountain views and sounds of the birds around us. It really is a magical energy!

As a functioning trekking centre and guesthouse since 2016, Welikande Villas is expanding its horizons to welcome the practise of yoga into our way of life, bringing together meditation, nature, ayurveda and mindfulness together in the most beautiful setting.
