O' Mother, what have we done!
Would not dream of robbing

Our flesh and blood mothers
Yet we did it to you, with impunity

And we still do it, now
Snatching away the unborn's

right to live in abundance.
Never have I robbed a child's morsel

Yet my hands are bloody
With this horrendous deed

Around us weep our ancestors
Repenting too late, they plead

Do not walk the way we chose
