Carl Zeiss is imported and marketed by A. Baur & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd., a 120 year old Swiss company.
Carl Zeiss AG branded as ZEISS, is a German manufacturer of optical systems and optoelectronics, founded in Germany in the year 1846 by Optician Carl Zeiss.
Carl Zeiss Vision Care division develops, manufactures and distributes ophthalmic lenses, lens coatings & dispensary technologies and services. Zeiss is known for ophthalmic lenses made from high refractive index, allowing stronger prescription lenses to be thinner.
Their progressive lens, ZEISS Progressive Individual has won multiple awards including the OLA awards in 2009 presented at Washington, D.C. and the VisionPlus Awards in 2014 at Mumbai, India.
